Hi, I’m Aman. I’m AAT and ACCA qualified with 17 years of experience working in accounting and tax.

I created this site to help sole traders and landlords better understand Making Tax Digital and explore simpler spreadsheet-based approaches where they are suitable.

I also have practical experience using spreadsheets and bridging software for MTD VAT submissions since HMRC introduced MTD for VAT in 2019.

My aim is to make MTD feel clearer, more manageable and less overwhelming, particularly for people with straightforward bookkeeping needs.
